Paying your rent or condo fees

 

Monthly condo fees are due on the first of day of each month. If not paid by the 15th, there is an additional late fee of $25.

 

If renting a unit, check with your landlord on due dates and late fees.

 

All checks can either be left at the office during regular business hours, or dropped in the "office" slot by the bank of mail boxes in the main lobby.

Rubbish Disposal & Recycling

 

In the east corner of the parking lot, at the bottom of the driveway entrance are several dumpsters.  Two of these dumpsters are for recycled materials.  We have 'single stream' recycling. There's a complete list on the dumpster as to what materials are accepted for recycling.  Please seperate your trash accordingly! 

 

Do not leave oversized items (such as large appliances, couches, mattresses) by the dumpsters. You are responsible for taking these directly to the landfill. 

Parking

 

There is no assigned parking, but you must display a parking tag on the rear-view mirror of your car. Motorcycles are permitted to park on the cemented area adjacent to the tennis courts.  Visit the office to register your vehicle and get your tag. All vehciles must be registered with the DMV and be adequately insured. Boats, trailers, RVs or disabled vehicles are not allowed.

 

The 13 numbered spaces in the north end of the lot closest to Yantic Street are reserved for our neighbors at Indian Leap Apartments. Parking by Falls Mill residents is not allowed in these spaces.  If you park in one of these spaces you will get towed. 

Pets

 

In accordance with the Falls Mill Club Association Rules (Article III, Section 3.3) OWNER OCCUPIED UNITS are allowed to keep ONE DOG or TWO CATS. 

 

TENANTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO OWN PETS, unless given permission from their landlord. Under no circumstances is a tenant allowed to have a dog.

 

In the event of a fire or emergency, It is required that all pets be registered with the office.

Laundry Facilities

 

There are two Laundry rooms: one in the Main Building on the first floor and a second in the Dye House. Laundry cards may be purchased in the main building laundry room for $5.   

Mail & Package Delivery

 

Your mailing address:  150 Yantic Street, Unit #, Norwich CT 06360

 

Mail typically arrives in the late afternoon. Mail boxes are located in the Main Lobby of the Main Building.

 

FedEx, UPS and other delivery services drop packages in the Office Lobby across from the tennis court.  If you are unable to pick up your package during regular office hours, call Robin to make other arrangements.

Pool

 

The in-door pool is open sesaonlly, typically from Memorial Day through Columbus Day, weather permitting. Watch for notices. Any resident can use the pool 24-hours a day and are allowed to have up to 4 guests. Residents must be with the guests while in the pool. Your exterior door key also opens the pool house door. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult. 

Bicycles & Kayaks

 

If you do not wish to store your bike in your unit, there is a bike rack near the tennis courts - please secure your bikes there. Bikes cannot be left in stairwells, hallways or anywhere else on the property.  After the pool is closed for the season, bikes can be stored in the pool house.

 

There are 3 kayak racks in the Picnic area - past the tennis court.  There is an annual fee of $35 to store kayaks.
